eeedo is an adaptive tool for teams

eeedo is an agile tool designed to meet the needs of many different kinds of organizations, teams, and projects. Each organization has its own unique communication and information management needs. As a result, eeedo adapts to your needs and increases interaction and transparency within your organization.

The Feed

eeedo’s default view for any user is the feed view. The feed collects the newest files and information in one place. The feed view is similar to most popular leisure time social media sites, so it is easy to adopt. Polls, tasks, files, messages, and Wiki pages are marked with tags and appear to the users for whom the selected tag is relevant. The tags then form a personalized tag cloud for every user. This tag cloud can be used to filter information. For instance, you can use the tag cloud to select the information you want to display (i.e. asking eeedo to only show information regarding a new marketing plan in New York).

The text search helps you to find information anywhere, even from inside attached files. eeedo automatically recognizes most common document types, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF, and makes their content available for search. If your organization has lots of information, knowledge, and best practices in a certain format (i.e. in PDF form), it is very simple to bring them to eeedo as an editable Wiki page. Alternatively, the files can be uploaded to eeedo as an attachment. File version management is also very easy in eeedo. When you upload the new version of a file, the old file will be marked as outdated and archived automatically.

The Mobile Application

eeedo’s mobile application is available for Android phones, Apple iPhones, and Windows phones. With this application, you can comment on, search, and add and edit content wherever you are. eeedo ensures delivery of critical information with push notifications to mobile apps, e-mail reminders, and bi-directional SMSs.

The Tag Cloud

The tag cloud consists of the tags used in eeedo. Every user has their own unique tag cloud with their most relevant topics listed. It is possible to change the view to a general tag cloud of the whole organization, if you want to see the big picture of what’s happening in your organization. By increasing organization-wide transparency and by taking down barriers between different branches and departments, it is possible to create an environment in which everyone has equal opportunity to influence and engage with the innovation process.

The Task Management System

Eeedo’s visual task management system is designed as a Kanban table. The task view gives you an excellent overview of the current status of different tasks and projects, when their deadlines are, and who is responsible for them. You can also filter the tasks based on what topics the tasks are related to. You can also make comments, discuss different tasks, and attach files.

Other uses

Nobody knows your organization the way you do, and that is why you can use eeedo in so many different ways. You can, for example, keep a record of vehicle and machine maintenance, keep a log of your rental equipment, or invent your own way to use eeedo in your organization.
